Photographer Nikki Fenix and her gritty pictures are light years from the rarefied world of fashion magazines where she began her career as a stylist.  In her 15-year international career, Fenix created images for magazines including Elle, Vogue, Interview, GQ, Madamoiselle, Glamour, Esquire and Instyle with advertising clients such as Billabong, Nike, Apple,  Bloomingdales, Target and Sony. Shooting her own images was a natural evolution and Fenix’s aesthetic is all her own. Inspired by the magic of nature, the spirit of individuality and those who are authentically themselves, Fenix looks to capture real emotions and compelling narratives. Fenix has been exhibited in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Portland. Clients include Facebook, Vans, Adidas and Nike. She regularly contributes travel and lifestyle features to Australian Gourmet Traveller Magazine.
